FUN PERSONAL FACTS
I work full time in Marketing and bake and craft in my spare time. Because of my busy schedule, I am not able to accept custom orders but I’m happy to meet new people at markets, pop-ups and classes around town!
I am happily married to a very supportive husband and together we are raising two adorable Siberian cats!
In 2018 I competed in the first annual Chicago’s Best Baker competition, taking home the 3rd place in the cake category, 2nd place in cookies, and 1st place in the showstopper – an edible creation of 12 inches or higher. I made the Chicago Theater sign out of cake and cookies!
I consider myself an amateur! I learned to bake from my mom and learned art from high school electives or the occasional local class to help sharpen my skills. I love taking tips from my peers and also do a lot of trial and error on my own.
One of my proudest moments was competing on the Food Network’s Halloween Cookie Challenge in 2023. I was proud of stepping out of my comfort zone and achieving something that always felt like a far-off dream. The best part for me was viewing it with my family and being witness to their excitement. The support and love from them and my friends is overwhelming, and I am always so appreciative!
